Why Do I Need A Website?

There are multiple reasons why you should have a website some of the reasons are;

1. Cost-Effective

2. Around-The-Clock Availability

3. Increased Sales

4. Targeted Marketing

A website can be more cost-effective than paying a company like ‘MyBuilder’ to advertise you on their website as they will charge a very high price to advertise your name. With a website, you pay the initial price for the design of the website then a small hosting fee each month and you get more than just your name you have multiple pages, proof of previous work, a contact page etc.

A website is available 24/7 even when you are not working so your customer base can see your availability / what you do when you are not contactable or when it is more convenient to your customer. They also may feel pressured if it is over a phone call so a website takes that away as they can browse for as long as they need without someone waiting for a reply at the other end of the phone.

A website will increase your sales as your company will have more exposure to the public eye. If they type in key works for example ‘plumber’ or ‘plumber in Manchester’ if your Site Engine Optimisation (SEO) is done correctly your website will be a result of that search.

If you have your very own website you can design it to suit your target audience. All different types of audience require specific needs and you need to accommodate that otherwise you are at risk of being put to one side by the customers.
